Halfway the project, we have two new EATFISH Partner Organisations: Silfurgen (Iceland) and Superette (France). These SMEs represent state-of-the-art expertise on gene silencing (Silfurgen) that is instrumental to prevent that farmed salmon escapees breed with their wild counterparts. Superette is an indoor (urban) vertical farm that promotes short-circuit and ultra-local, and sustainable agriculture to reduce imported products that have travelled thousands of kilometres before landing on our plates.
